About Us

In 1991, Daniel Metzger, President of Custom Lawns & Landscape LLC, started his career in the landscape industry. As a commissioned 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army and a student at Marquette University, he started in the maintenance division for a local landscape company. From there, he was promoted to lead foreman in the construction/installation division.

In 1994, he married his best friend Elaine. After achieving his first certification in landscape installation through WI Landscape & Contractors Association (WLCA) and (The Professional Landcare Network) PLANET in September of 1998, two years later, he earned his second certification in landscape management. While working full time in the landscape industry for 19 years, Dan graduated in May of 2010 with a degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. Dan and Elaine have 2 lovely daughters who are proud of his many accomplishments and work ethic.

Dan started his company with a goal to exceed customer's expectations by offering excellent customer service, knowledge, and 20 plus years of industry experience. He is confident in Custom Lawns & Landscapeís ability to service clients after the sale.
